My dad started in the construction game more than seventy years ago, and as I grew up in the business he pounded this secret of success into my head. Dad and I used to have those lengthy discussions about how many things have changed and about how different and varied the needs of the industry are today. Our family has been helping companies like yours a long time.
Some things never change. To be knowledgeable in what you do, to take pride in your work and to "always do right" are still requirements. We backed up everything we did with Mark Twain's simple statement. Uniquely qualified, JCS Group, Inc. completed jobs in a timely, comprehensive, and cost-effective manner.
It brought you the ability to make things happen... to meet deadlines... to build and supervise a team... to get results. With the experience needed to complete projects on time, on budget and with the desired results; the know how to effectively create a plan, implement it, monitor its progress and deliver what was promised; the savvy to guide a project from bid to a bottom-line result? Traveling anywhere, from South Carolina to New Mexico - from Michigan to Alabama, we've plowed fiber, copper or coax in 30 states and bid in 37.
Dad and Uncle Julius started in 1938 clearing right-of-way, setting poles, and stringing wire. When Dad came back from WWII he started operating as Hillard E. Johnmeyer, Contractor and continued until his recall for Korea. After Korea he picked back up and incorporated in 1956 as Johnmeyer Construction Co., Inc. I left Dad's company in 1976 and incorporated Johnmeyer Construction Services, Inc. becoming JCS Group, Inc. in 1996. We were the best in telecommunications construction.
